The stripper-crimper AM 05 is an electropneumatic driven machine for rapid and reliable processing of loose male and female contacts. The AM 05 has a special selective feeding unit, through sensors and actuators the right placement of the contacts for further processing in the machine is guaranteed. The adjustment of the stripping- and crimping depth is motorical. Up to 50 different programs can be stored. Adjustments and programming is done with the touch Display. The touch Display Shows all important data, functions and errors. The stripper-crimper may be adapted to different contacts or wires using the corresponding tools. With the software Z+F SynCaT®, Zoller+Fröhlich creates a connection between the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 and external positioning and navigation systems. SynCaT stands for synchronization, calibration and transformation - also representing the main tasks of the software. Z+F SynCat® includes all the features below: Calibration: Processing of calibration parameters due to different system integrations (translation, rotation offsets between the coordinate systems of the navigation-unit (trajectory) and the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner) Synchronization: Synchronize Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner data with trajectory data and generate 3D point cloud files Transformation: Transform 3D point cloud data to different local coordinate systems and apply different local/global height correction models (geoid correction files) Correction: Individual offset estimation referring to predefined ground control points (GCP’s) Z+F SynCaT® is a modular structured mobile mapping software.

Z+F 3D phase based laser scanners enable a detailed condition and damage assessment. Due to the high sampling rate as well as a range resolution of less than 1mm and a measurement accuracy of millimetres, even the most delicate structures and details can be documented. The surveyed status, damage, structures and details are stored in a database which allows the reconstruction of the complete object or parts of the object at any given time in the future.

Programming is completely done in-house according to DIN EN 61131-3. The preferred programming languages used are either Siemens’ Step 7 or 3S’ CodeSys. The hardware depends on the application: it ranges from miniature control systems to computer solutions with connections to the office world in order to document the manufacturing process ideally. By working closely together with our customers we attain individual use of technological possibilities.

Z+F LaserControl® Office and Scout are the optimal solution to work efficiently and fully with the laser scanners of Zoller + Fröhlich. A range of filters, measurement and registration tools enable a high differentiate processing of scan data and are the key to filter, register and color 3D point clouds. Thanks to the large selection of export formats provided by Z+F LaserControl®, data can be imported and further processed in all common 3D software applications.

State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques are used in our electrical workshop. The world-renowned and appreciated Z+F machines are used for wire processing. These assure a high quality standard of the final product and allow great time savings in the manufacturing process. Thereby we can offer our customers a good and fair price-performance ratio. Individual marking of wires is supported. UL approvals are also possible.

Typical fields of application are as-built documentation, construction site monitoring or deformation measurement. Existing factory workshops and industrial plants can be surveyed three-dimensionally in detail. For new buildings, further extensions and reconstruction in the future, there are spatial coordinates available which are accurate to a millimeter, from which two-dimensional construction plans can easily be drawn. Generation of 3D models From the data gathered by Z+F laser scanner systems and with the LFM software, 3D models of the actual state of the factory or plant (e.g. tubes, steel girders) can be generated. Furthermore, it is possible to generate complete CAD models from the 3D scan data (the so-called point cloud). Clash detection It is possible to simulate manufacturing processes and to carry out collision checks with 3D models. Example: Another production robot of the same type has to be added to an existing plant. Facility management All fixed equipment like cables or tubes is surveyed as well and saved in a 3D database which serves as the basis for future reconstruction.

Our metalworking shop allows us to realize customized housings according to customer requests. A team of experienced employees assures the necessary precision including all required cutouts and drillings of housings. Our own tool shop is equipped with machines for lathing, milling, electrical discharge machining and grinding which allow us to quickly manufacture customized parts/adjustments in-house.

In the range of 0.5 to 10 mm² (AWG 20 – 8) wires and ferrules can be crimped. Standard is the trapezoidal crimp corresponding to DIN 46228 part 4. The machine can optionally be adapted to other crimpforms. Adjustments, important data, functions and status will be programed and shown on the touch display. Universal use in the specified range without tool change. I/O interface enables easy integration and time-optimized function in fully automatic systems.

Technical information The SC 05 universal is an electropneumatic benchtop crimper, equipped with a very efficient electropneumatic drive. The machine is operated by a foot-switch. The sequence is monitored by a microprocessor control. With the integrated quadro-crimping-tool, ferrules in the cross-section range from 0.5 mm² up to 6 mm² (AWG 20 - 10) (insulated/uninsulated) and twin ferrules with plastic collar from 2 x 0.5 mm² to 2 x 2.5 mm² (AWG 2 x 20 - 2 x 14) and crimping lengths from 6 mm up to 18 mm can be crimped. The crimper can easily be adapted to different cross-sections by turning the adjustments knob on the front cover of the machine. Other crimping forms or cross-sections are possible on request.

Technical Information The pneumatic driven crimper is specifically desig­ned to crimp loose turned contacts. In the range of 0.08 up to 4 mm2 (AWG 28 – 12) wires and contacts can be crimped. A 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to SAE 22520 is standard. The crimping-depth can be adjusted manually in 10 µm steps. The machine is equipped with standard crimping tool kit, the crimper can be easily adapted to various contacts. Brackets for optimized infeed and centering of the wire are optionally available. Technical information The SC 03 is an electropneumatic crimp press. It is equipped with a very efficient pedal switch. The correct and fully controlled sequence is monitored by a microprocessor control. The machine is started by a foot-switch. An integrated adjusting mechanism enables a correction of the crimping depth. Crimping tools can be changed easily and are available for the processing of ferrules with a size of up to 70 mm² with different crimping lengths. On customers demand special tools with different crimping geometries can be developed and manufactured.
